
ABOUT US
We are using Millside Wigwam’s for the start of the race. This allows the race easy access to the surrounding fields and tracks as you head out of Mill Farm. The routes will be fully marshalled and very well signposted.
10K TRAIL RUN

Minimum age 14yrs
This run is chip timed and you will receive a medal for completion.
5K TRAIL RUN
5th JUNE 2021 – 12 NOON START
Minimum age 5yrs | (5-10 year olds accompanied by adult)

PARKING
Plenty of free car parking is included with your entry.
CHANGING
Due to the remote location of this event we regret that there will be no changing or shower facilities so please arrive ‘race-ready’.
TOILETS
These are provided at the Start Area, please respect these facilities and consider the local environment and other site users on the day.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Don’t forget to smile when you see the camera! We don’t charge you for any photos we take, just download them for free from our gallery.
TIMING & RESULTS
Raceonline.uk Chip Timing are providing complete race timing, management and equipment for the event. Chip Time is the time that the runner actually takes from the time they crossed the start line to the time they crossed the finish line.
ENTRIES
We are expecting to have capacity for entries on the day. Online entries in advance are £17.00 for the 10K & £12 for the 5K.
RACE DETAILS
All race numbers are allocated and given out on the day. Collect yours from the registration area which opens at 08.00am, please give yourself enough time to collect yours and fill in the reverse before the start.
Full race details are emailed out to each runner on sign up. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct email address otherwise you will miss this vital information. *Please check your spam / junk folder just in case*
MEDALS
After your hard earned efforts your custom made Van’Elnor medal will be handed to you in the finish area.

We try to provide as much information as possible to put you at ease, but if you need to know more, or spot something missing then please drop us a line below and we’ll be more than happy to hear from you.
It can get fairly busy close to race day so please bear with us, but we still aim to get back to you within 3 working days at the latest.
FAQs
DRINKS STATION
There will be a water station approx halfway around the 10k course.
REFRESHMENTS & FOOD
Ancaster Butchers will be providing hot meals, snacks and drinks are available to purchase before and afterwards.
TRANSFER POLICY
All entries are non-refundable. The staging of events have to be booked and paid for many months in advance. We are however pleased to offer a free transfer service. We can swap your Van’Elnor 10k place to a friend / relative / team mate etc but you must handle any reimbursement of funds directly with that person, WE ONLY SWAP THE RUNNERS ENTRY DETAILS OVER.
To transfer your place, simple contact us supplying ALL of the following details of the person you wish to take your place:
FULL NAME / ADDRESS / DOB / EMAIL / SEX / TEL / CLUB / EMERGENCY CONTACT NAME & NUMBER.
*This transfer service is not compatible with strangers off the race waiting list and only available until 5th June 2018*.
FIRST AID
You should be relatively fit and have no known medical conditions which would hinder your run or cause the race organiser concern. Medical support will be present on the day. You are reminded not to run if you feel ill or have a cold or flu on race day as this can be extremely dangerous. Do not take part if you have any respiratory illness or recent medical condition.
